Our aim was to describe prevalence, nature, and level of severity of potential statin drug-drug interactions in a university hospital.
In a cross-sectional study, statin drug-drug interactions were screened from medical record of 10,506 in-patients treated stored in the clinical data warehouse "eHOP." We screened drug-drug interactions using Theriaque and Micromedex drug databases.

To evaluate the performance of the collection of cases of anaphylactic shock during anesthesia in the Regional Pharmacovigilance Center of Rennes and the contribution of a query in the biomedical data warehouse of the French University Hospital of Rennes in 2009.
Different sources were evaluated: the French pharmacovigilance database (including spontaneous reports and reports from a query in the database of the programme de médicalisation des systèmes d'information [PMSI]), records of patients seen in allergo-anesthesia (source considered as comprehensive as possible) and a query in the data warehouse.
Analysis of allergo-anesthesia records detected all cases identified by other methods, as well as two other cases (nine cases in total).

This work proposes an integrated workflow for secondary use of medical data to serve feasibility studies, and the prescreening and monitoring of research studies. All research issues are initially addressed by the Clinical Research Office through a research portal and subsequently redirected to relevant experts in the determined field of concentration. For secondary use of data, the workflow is then based on the clinical data warehouse of the hospital.

The aim of this study was to assess the usefulness of positron emission tomography/computed tomography in staging, prognosis evaluation and restaging of patients with follicular lymphoma.
A retrospective study was performed on 45 patients with untreated biopsy-proven follicular lymphoma who underwent 18F-fluorodeoxyglucose PET/CT (FDG PET/CT) and CT before and after chemoimmunotherapy induction treatment (rituximab combined with cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin, vincristine and prednisone).
PET/CT detected more nodal (+51%) and extranodal (+89%) lesions than CT.

The objective of this project is to investigate methods whereby a combination of speech recognition and automated indexing methods substitute for current transcription and indexing practices.
We based our study on existing speech recognition software programs and on NOMINDEX, a tool that extracts MeSH concepts from medical text in natural language and that is mainly based on a French medical lexicon and on the UMLS. For each document, the process consists of three steps: (1) dictation and digital audio recording, (2) speech recognition, (3) automatic indexing.
